Established in 1994, the company started out as an agency specialising in delivering thought leadership centred PR programmes and marketing consultancy. This research led approach and our thorough understanding of industry issues across vertical markets soon meant that Lindsell services were in demand for more than PR. Clients were demanding content rich communications for all their marketing needs.
Today, we remain the trusted providers of intelligently produced content, whilst delivering the services required to bring these messages to a wider audience through PR, Analyst Relations and Events, Digital Communications, SEO, Sales Collateral and Marketing Campaigns.
The team at Lindsell Marketing is made up of professionals who passionately believe that content rich communications can transform regular marketing communications into meaningful messaging. They are led by our senior team who have 64 combined years of experience in content development, marketing, journalism and media relations.
Paul Lindsell – Managing Director
Managing Director Paul Lindsell brings over 20 years experience in marketing to the Lindsell team and the work they do for clients. From his beginnings as the Art Fund’s first public relations officer, followed by a firm grounding in commercial agencies, Paul set up Lindsell Marketing at the age of 29.
Over the last 15 years, supported by his senior colleagues, Paul has steered the transformation of the company towards a multi-discipline marketing organisation that is firmly focused on delivering hard, measurable results for its clients. Paul leads the company, but plays a directorial and advisory role in each client account. He also leads the company’s activities in market research, strategic consultancy and digital marketing.
Matthew Howell – Account Director
Matt has been with Lindsell since the company’s very beginning, in the days when sending a press release meant slaving over a steaming fax machine. The fax machine has long since been replaced but Matt has gone from strength-to-strength and is now a Senior Partner within the firm.
Matt is one of Lindsell’s ace copywriters with a real talent for transforming client messages into copy that speaks the customer’s language. A brief stint in horse-racing journalism (despite barely knowing port from starboard on a horse) honed Matt’s eye for dissecting jargon and spotting a story at a thousand paces.
Hugh Filman – Account Director
Hugh is the account director in charge of our marketing services group, a position he took up in 2008 after working for more than 20 years as a journalist. Hugh is originally from Canada where he covered the marketing sector before embarking on an international career that has taken him around the world as a wire service reporter, magazine editor and correspondent for Business Week, The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the German Press Agency among others. He has worked in the UK since 2000 where he has been news editor of Media Week and editor of Direct Response and Promotions & Incentives magazine.
